Metadata Editor
The Metadata Editor project provides a full fledged web-based editor and entry form tool for metadata. The features of this editor will include:
- Compliance with multiple metadata standards (such as EML and FGDC)
- Auto-save feature, so you don't lose your work
- Content validation, examples, and metadata best-practices guidance
- Authentication system
- Integration of Thesaurus and Taxonomic Services
- Google Maps Mashups
It is based on Orbeon, an open source implementation of XForms.
